NDIS health-tech T-Shirt Ventures raises $11m in Series A, former Ramsay Health Care CEO joins board

Sydney-based health-tech T-Shirt Ventures raises $11M in Series A to expand NDIS support through innovative technology, led by HEAL Partners and with ex-Ramsay CEO Chris Rex as chairman.

A Sydney-based health-tech helping National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIS) participants easily access health support has raised $11 million in a Series A round solely led by HEAL Partners.

In conjunction with the raise, T-Shirt Ventures will also see former Ramsay Health Care (ASX: RHC) CEO Chris Rex become chairman of its board.

Rex, who is an advisor at HEAL Partners, has not taken on any board or executive roles since exiting Ramsay Health Care in 2017. During his nine-year tenure as CEO, RHC became a major global health care company operating in 220 hospitals and facilities across six countries.

The capital injection will be used to accelerate T-Shirt Ventures' expansion in technology, products and staff in order to give NDIS participants improved choice and control.
